Advocates for Healthy Youth (AFHY) Event Celebrates 15 Year Anniversary

https_cdn.evbuc.com_images_29759437_178336429264_1_originalHealthy Monadnock partner, Advocates for Healthy Youth (AFHY), will be hosting “Raising Your Voice for Kids,” a free event and lunch on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, that will celebrate the organization’s 15 year anniversary.

The lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the meeting will start at noon. The event will take place at the Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship, 25 Roxbury St., Keene, New Hampshire.

“The event will commemorate the history of Advocates for Healthy Youth, recognize its founders and look at opportunities for the future,” said Linda Rubin, director, Healthiest Community Initiative, Healthy Monadnock, who will facilitate the discussion portion of the meeting about the future of AFHY.

Other speakers at the event will include:

  • Nancy Vaughan, government relations director, American Heart Association, NH Chapter
  • Melissa Bernardin, campaign coordinator, Voices for Healthy Kids New Hampshire
  • Dick Ober, president and CEO, New Hampshire Charitable Foundation
  • Eileen Fernandes, director, Center for Population Health Strategy and Practice, Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
